Blubox

Interactive Attractions

Goal: Maximize client reach and brand recognition through efficiency and quality.

Challenge: Launching from zero while pushing innovation in technology, imaging, and interaction.

Actions: Weekend operations in and out of state; handled installations; recruited and managed event support teams; executed full post‑event equipment checks.

Results: In two years, expanded beyond one‑off photo‑booth events to deliver differentiated projects with imported digital platforms; built significant presence in the luxury market.

Work performed: UX Design, Prototyping, Design Planning, Graphic Design and Operations Management.

1st Prototype

In 2015, we reinvented photo booths with an iPhone‑inspired aesthetic, integrating professional‑grade cameras, a larger high‑resolution touchscreen optimized for dark, high‑energy events, and an ergonomic, child‑friendly printer enclosure that concealed hardware. The prototype launched successfully, drove strong audience engagement, and proved that strategic design investment was the key differentiator.

Key points:

  • Problem: basic, inconvenient booths reliant on staff to fix issues.

  • Solution: pro cameras + large high‑res touchscreen + ergonomic printer at ideal height with hidden hardware.

  • Outcome: innovative, market‑ready product with remarkable post‑launch performance.

In 2015, my friend Anthony contacted me: “I’m starting a new venture; want to join?” That’s how Blubox began, driven by our love for technology and photography.

We worked together on weekends, covering weddings, parties, and all sorts of events with a photo kiosk. During the week, I managed 3.16 Clothing alone.

2nd Prototype

In 2016, we advanced the product with a slimmer form factor, expanded LED integration to streamline lighting, and a distinctly elegant design.

(yes that's my old room)
